Delphine performed her PhD in Sciences in the framework of a European Research project (FP7-BEST Stem Cells) aimed at developing a method for aseptic, automatable and chemically defined vitrification of human embryonic stem cells for therapeutic use. Based upon the very positive results resulting from her research, she has been project leader of a First Spin –off (DGO6-FWB) project for validation, scientific development and valorization of this vitrification technology on various cell types. Consequently, she has acquired a unique expertise in cell biology and development as well as in cellular cryobiology. Her expertise and involvement in the VitriCell project, and her will to contribute to the creation of a company valorizing the fruit of her research has enabled the development of the current VitriCell’s offer and second-generation products already in the pipeline. CEO of VitriCell, she is assisted by scientific and operational advisors to define the strategic axes of the company’s development.

Fabien is co-promoter of the European (FP7-BEST Stem Cells) and First Spin-Off (DGO6-FWB) projects, which enabled the development of VitriCell’s technology and lead to the creation of the company. His scientific career allowed him to acquire an unmatched combined expertise in cell biology and development, as well as in cryobiology applied to cells, gametes and embryos. He has contributed significantly to the research leading to the development of VitriCell’s technology and its second-generation products. In addition to his next roles as a CSO, he contributes to the elaboration of VitriCell’s strategic axes of research.

VitriCell’s co-founder and scientific advisor

Luc is a promoter of the European (FP7-BEST Stem Cells) and First Spin-Off (DGO6-FWB) projects, which enabled the development of VitriCell’s technology and lead to the creation of the company. Primarily geneticist, he has acquired extensive experience in developmental biology applied to the creation of murine models for functional genomics. Subsequently, his research on murine and human embryonic stem cells led to the development of high-performance and safe cryopreservation technologies through the abovementioned research projects. He stays scientific advisor of VitriCell and contributes to the elaboration of the company’s strategic axes of development.

Pierre owns a unique experience in human Medically Assisted Procreation, particularly in developmental biology and cryobiology applied to gametes and embryos in human and other mammals. He is a pioneer of vitrification of oocytes and embryos. His scientific reputation and publications make him a worldwide reference in the field of cryopreservation. He contributed significantly to the research leading to the development of VitriCell’s technology and its second-generation products. He is scientific advisor of VitriCell and contributes to the elaboration of the company’s strategic axes of research.
